Then I will use my $10 Giftcard I got for free from banking with Suntrust.
Then I will give my coupons (for the purpose of the blog, I'll only count coupons I know the value of)
I don't have any EBs from last week, so I will pay the rest Out of Pocket (OOP)

-$3 coupon
Total now: $22.97
-$1.50 (John Frieda)
-$1.50 (John Frieda)

Total OOP: $18.97, getting $20.99 back

I've made a profit of $2.02 and I haven't even included the coupons I have at home!

I am so excited to go shopping on Sunday!  I can then go back and use my $20.99 in EBs to b buy canned veggies that are on sale for $0.88 this week or the B1G1 Wisk or All laundry detergent.  I might even go get Little Steve some Valentine's gifts that are 25% off this week.  AHH!

The Thursday Push!

That's basically how I feel on a daily basis.  Just add some books, Tye work, and it's me to a T!

It's actually a lot of fun - I know it makes me sound crazy and I do sometimes get so tired I can't really function (lol), but I love it.  Some days, I find myself complaining way too much and I remind myself that this is exactly what I've been wanting my whole life - a family to take care of.  Anyone who knows me can tell you that raising a child/children has been my heart's desire for many many years.

I live by the motto 'Do the best you can' because that's really all I can do, right?  So, I'm still learning that it's okay if all the clothes aren't put away before I go to bed because they'll definitely still be there tomorrow - because, contrary to Big Steve's beliefs, that little 'fairy' running around the house picking up after him and Little Steve doesn't exist.  Wouldn't that be great, though?  I might go into the fairy providing business; a lot of moms would totally bite that bait!

Last night, I was able to cross some things off my to do list, but the thing about to do lists is once you cross something off, something else magically appears.  Heh!

My granny told me last night that I am going to be so proud of myself when I finish school and am able to provide a great future for my family.  She always 'knows' I can do it - how does she know that?!  I love that woman.  My heart is about 1/4 allll granny.

It's a good life.  It's a crazy busy life, but it is SO good.

Scrapin' the Pantry: Easy Peasy Ham & Cheddar Shells

Easy Peasy Ham & Cheddar Shells

You will need:

1 pkg of your favorite pasta (I use shells for this because the cheese tends to get 'stuck' in them)
8 slices of your favorite cheese (I used white american)
8 slices of ham
2 Tbsp EVOO

Boil pasta noodles, drain, and keep warm.  Heat EVOO in skillet on medium-high heat.  Cut up ham while it's getting hot; add ham and let brown.  Meanwhile, cut up 8 slices of cheese and toss slices with noodles.  Add cooked ham and toss, toss, toss!

Serve with a green salad and maybe some garlic bread!

FREE Coffee Mate on Friday.

Don't forget to 'Like' them on Facebook here, then request your coupon for a Free bottle on Friday.  I love Coffee-Mate!

Thanks, Cleverly Simple!

My First Super Overwhelming Week!

Hey everyone!

This week has been the longest week ever!  I went to bed Monday night at 8 pm because I felt horrible, so I am a bit behind on life - I finally feel overwhelmed with school, work, home, baby, etc, etc, etc.  Here's where I am today:

-About 3 loads of laundry behind
- A 4 minute presentation behind (presenting tomorrow night on COUPONS!)
- About 2 chapters behind in Communications
- 1 Chapter behind in Anatomy/Physiology
- 300+ mouse pads to package, address, stamp, and mail by Friday for work
- A few Easy Peasy recipes behind on blogging :)
- A couple weeks since I've cleaned the master bathroom in entirety (I know, YUCK!)

So, I plan to give you all some Easy Peasy Recipes sometime this weekend - they'll include Spaghetti Carbonara, Ham & Cheddar Shells, Pepperoni Pizza Biscuits, and tonights recipe - Wide Open Faced Turkey Sammies!  I'll also be updating my shopping plan and posting how it actually went.  I'm branching out this weekend, I'll be trying:

-Aldi - they don't take coupons, but I am going to check out their produce and bread
- Target - I plan to combine their Target printables with my own coupons to score some super deals

My goal is to spend $100 and come up with another 12-14 meals out of it.  I have budgeted $150, but I want to take that $50 and put it into savings!

Don't forget to check out the new coupons at Coupons.com.  Print them now and save them for later, they generally last about a month.

Coupon Tip: Manufacturers generally have coupons on their own websites as well as coupons on Facebook.  If you 'Like' then on Facebook, you often get high dollar coupons to print.
